June 19th – None of the seeds have germinated. I think it may have been too cold, so I’ll try again at the very beginning of spring.
June 1st – Planted another 3 seeds. I’m trying these outdoors, as it would ultimately be easier if they could germinate there — going to the attic to check on them can be time-consuming.

June 1st – The two seedlings in the attic were neglected and have now died. The one seedling that survived and was planted outside has not grown and now appears to have wilted completely.
May 19th – I placed two of the germinated seedlings outside about 10 days ago. One of them was eaten by a slug overnight. The other one survived and I’ve just planted it in the ground. It hasn’t grown much since germinating though, so it may not be ready — but it hasn’t shown much growth at all since it first germinated. The other two germinated seedlings are still up in the attic and also haven’t grown much.
May 5th – Another two seeds have now germinated.
May 4th – Two seeds germinated.
April 29th – Planted 6 seeds and placed them in the attic. No heat mat and not covered in a greenhouse.
