This seedling did not survive.
September 10th
One of the seeds has now germinated.
August 25th
The seeds I planted in June also didn’t sprout. The days are now a little warmer and so I have planted another two seeds. I planted them in seedling trays and left them outside. I forgot that I was going to try soaking them first.

Planted another 3 seeds. I forgot about my earlier note about soaking the seeds first, so I’ll see how these go and try soaking next time if I still have no success.`
June 20th
Still no success on any of the seeds germinating. I will try again in early spring.

I’ve realised that this seed hasn’t germinated. I just read that you can soak the seeds in warm water for 24–48 hours to soften the hard shell.

Planted 1 seed in a newspaper cup. It’s in the attic without a heat mat.
